By Appointment Lessons

Wheel

You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder. The finished pieces will be fired and glazed for you in a color of your choice. Please call the studio to schedule.

​Hand Building

You will use one of the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab, to make a one-of-a-kind pottery creation. Please call the studio to schedule.​​


 Hand Building Kids/Teens/ Adult
This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, & slab.  Kids classes & teens are 1.5 hours weekly, adults are 2 hours weekly.  M

Beginner Wheel Teens/Adult
This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder, trimming and basic glazing techniques. Maximum class size is 4.​ Teen classes are 1.5 hours weekly and adult classes are 2 hours weekly. Register here.

​Beginner/Intermediate Wheel Adult
This is a 6-week series of classes. You will continue to practice the basics of wheel throwing and foster independence in the studio. Independent projects will be encouraged, and projects will be taught as well.  Open studio time is included with this session. Included a 25 lb. bag of clay. Maximum class size is 4.​ Register here.

​Hand Building Workshops
These are one-time creative experiences and project based. Participants will make a project using the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab. Glazing will be done in same session. These workshops are 2-3 hours and will be offered monthly and by appointment. Click here to register.

Open Studio

Open studio is available to registered students and advanced potters who can navigate independently in a studio.

There is an hourly fee and clay fee. Fees apply to non-registered potters and TPW students who are in the beginner class. Beginner/Intermediate students tuition includes open studio time.
